This techniques comes from several traditional Kenjutsu schools. Some of this techniques are also praticed while using bogu (protective gear) in shiai.
Unlike some of our other videos, THIS Kumidachi is NOT part of the curriculum of traditional schools taught in Niten Intitute (like Niten Ichi Ryu, Suio Ryu, Shindo Muso and others), but illustrates in a dynamic way some techniques taught in our institute.

Diferentemente de outros de nossos vÃdeos, este Kumidachi não fazparte do currïcúlo dos estilos tradicionais ensinados no Instituto Niten (Niten Ichi Ryu, Suio Ryu e Shindo Muso Ryu entre outros), mas serve para ilustrar de forma dinâmica a aplicação das técnicas de Kenjutsu praticadas no Instituto Niten.

Kiyonaga Fumiya, the 11th successor of the ryu (daijuichi) as Uchidachi and Nishioka Tiyomi as Shidachi.
The Niten ichi Ryu is the Kenjutsu style created by Miyamoto Musashi. It's composed of 12 techniques with long sword techniques, 7 with short sword and 5 with two swords. There are also 20 bo (staff) techniques.
